Clinical Experience: practicing Chinese and functional medicine since 1983: acupuncture, herbs, moxabustion, electro-acupuncture, Shonishin pediatric acupuncture,  therapeutic nutrition and supplements, self-massage and self-care education,                     hypnotherapy, Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) and Somatic Experiencing trauma work (SE).

1996 – 2010  Oriental Medical Center. Focus on hormonal and immune problems, digestive  disorders, stress, and pain. Many patients have experienced early trauma, especially those with complex chronic immune/autoimmune conditions.

1993 – 1996            Santa Cruz Women’s Health Center, joint Western/ Oriental medical health care focusing on cervical dysplasia, immune deficiencies and pain.

1988 -1993   ran Santa Cruz Women’s Health Center’s low income acupuncture clinic primarily for single mothers, their  children and college students;

1988 -1990    Branciforte Chiropractic and Acupuncture, Santa Cruz: personal injury and workers’ comp cases; focus on low back, neck and shoulder injuries.

1983 – 1990 California State Certified Acupuncturist in private practice in Novato  and Santa Cruz.

1978 – 1983   Holistic health practitioner: Swedish, lymphatic, acupressure and  polarity massage therapies.
